EGYTRANS has embarked on an ambitious project to become an e-business, using the internet to serve our customers, integrate with our agents and suppliers and streamline our internal business processes. In its final form, the company’s new e-business website will enable customers to easily and quickly track & trace their shipments, receive automated, customized reports and shipment status updates, receive real-time price quotations, record new shipping instructions and perform online booking, upload or download cargo documents and make online payments. Customers will be able to do all this from the comfort of their own homes or offices using an informative, attractive, user-friendly and secure website.
EGYTRANS has also put in place a new performance management system based on the Balanced Scorecard, enabling us to measure our progress, not just financially, but also in key areas related to our relationship with customers, the quality and efficiency of our internal processes and how well we support and help our employees to learn and grow.
EGYTRANS is committed to achieving its strategic vision of growth through diversification into related businesses in the field of integrated transport. The company has clear medium and long-term plans for adding new facilities and services in river transport and third party logistics (3PL) and supply chain management in Port Said East and in various industrial areas in Egypt.
Finally, EGYTRANS has committed itself to a code of corporate governance that ensures responsible, value-based, transparent management of the company, reinforcing the long-term confidence of shareholders, customers, employees and other stakeholders in the leadership of the company.
