Mr. Hussam Leheta, EGYTRANS Chairman & CEO declared that a plan has been developed for ETAL to become one of the most important companies operating in the local market for heavy transport services and exceptional packages in addition to general cargo in the near future.

Mr. Leheta informed the Al-Mal Newspaper that, based on this plan, new equipment worth up to EGP 19 million has been imported, pointing out that the new equipment will be added to the company’s heavy transport fleet within days. The equipment includes 3 MAN tractors with gross tonnage of 780 tons each and with drawing power up to 680 hp, in addition to a number of new state-of-the-art hydraulic low-beds, composed of 40 axles with gross tonnage of up to 1200 tons to be used in the transport of various heavy packages with exceptional dimensions.

The EGYTRANS Chairman clarified that, in order to complete the company infrastructure, a number of stores and workshops are being established for ETAL inside the Merghem Industrial Zone in Alexandria.
It is noteworthy that ETAL is one out of a total of 6 EGYTRANS subsidiaries: Egyptian Transport & Logistics (ETAL), Barwil EGYTRANS for Shipping Agencies, Scan Arabia for Shipping Agencies, EGYTRANS Depot Solutions, EGYTRANS for River Ports and EGYTRANS Barge Link.
